Chip chip chip slowly but steadily every gain women have made over the past 50 years or so is being taken back.
Canada rewards this disgusting pig of a man for defunding a rape shelter. A woman stands next to him while he gloats. He appears to be manipulating the levers on her back, probably trying to make her smile more energetically.
I have sent a monthly donation to that shelter ever since that cruel toad successfully campaigned to defund them.
As with so much of T, the cruelty is the point. “Meritorious service”? In what universe?
I wonder how the Sechelt First Nation feel about that former deadbeat tenant who skipped out on ~6 months rent being honoured.
Since credit ought to be given where it is due, I would like at this time to credit Morgane Oger and his political party, Canada’s left wing NDP, for services to Peak Transing. As has often been said, the best quality peak transing materials are the words of trans activists themselves, “listen to trans people”, we are entreated to do. So I did. I listened to Oger excoriate a black FGM survivor who was noting that FGM is a female-only issue. Oger disputed, and said she was “weaponising her trauma”. Other activists piled on, and Oger did not discourage them. Extra credit to the NDP, in which Oger held a high position, for not criticising nor censuring Oger for his behaviour, which alerted me to the fact that this was not, in fact, “just crazy people on the internet saying stupid things”, but rather a fully officially approved crime against women’s human rights.
Everyone thank Oger, and the NDP!
