I’m guessing they’re closer than she thinks. How many TiMs have been successful surrogates? Why is that? This is where the power of “identity” fails to overcome reality, as it always does.

Does anyone else experience massive fremdschämen when reading this dreck? I used to read (or listen to) it with a degree of vaguely amused curiosity, but nowadays it feels little different from when, as a kid watching sitcoms, I would run out of the room with my hands over my ears when a character found him- or herself in an embarrassing situation.
I had to go see what Josh was replying to, but now I see it was a thread started by him about why TiMs don’t ever get asked to be surrogates. Josh is spot on, and the dancing that people do to miss the point (deliberately, I’d say) is spectacular.
