Preventing a TiM officer from strip searching female suspects would be “discrimination.” His affirmation is more important than her safety, dignity and comfort. With TiM suspects, the concern is reversed, with the suspect’s validation now being more important than the concerns of the female officer who would be forced to provide his narc supply by strip searching him. So, not so much enforcing the perks of the job of policing, as the perks of being male.
