As for Graham Linehan- his arrest seems to have alarmed people who wouldn’t normally be on his side.
This “New Statesman” writer has expressed misgivings about his arrest, comparing it to the arrest of supporters who expressed support for the banned-in-Britain organisation Palestine Action:
Clearly, police in the UK are still out of control, or more accurately, under the control of trans-captured, lawless, authoritarian, elements. Under what statute, and under whose orders was his arrest and detention carried out? Somebody decided to do this; it didn’t just happen, or if it did, it shouldn’t have. Everyone who signed off on this (and the five officers who carried it out), should be fined, disciplined, suspended, removed from their posts, and/or arrested and prosecuted for abuse of power. Publicly. Loudly. They are dangers to the public, and have no business in policing anyone but themselves. Linehan should get an official apology, and compensation. Heads should roll. Someone should pay, and those someones need to be identified and weeded out, as they no longer serve the public, but are the private, mercenary force of trans ideology.
