Go back to headline school

If even the Daily Mail can’t get it right…

What a headline!

One, men invading women’s organizations is not a “culture war”.

Two, women resisting men’s invasion of women’s organizations is not “kicking” anyone.

Three, men are not a “minority group” even if they call themselves women.

Four, how is it not obvious that single-sex spaces=single-sex spaces and therefore men don’t belong in the ones for women?

That’s a hell of a lot to get wrong in one little headline.

Yeah, “minority group.” Why is that? Maybe a “fringe group” or a “deviant group” would also fit. Males who insist they are women are a small minority indeed, but they don’t lack any human rights that the rest of us have. We don’t have to share in their delusions. We aren’t part of their group, we don’t have to acquiesce to their “minority” views. But when men are pushing women out of their birthrights as women, and the rest of us are bullied into agreement, then it’s a bridge too far.

The Daily Mail, tabloid rag that it is, is the only major news outlet reporting regularly on gender madness. It consistently follows trendy pronoun use and other wokeisms. I can’t decide whether this is rage baiting its readers or, as the Brits say, taking the piss out of genderists.
