Good faith debate is it?

Yeah yeah always line up with the men.

Blah blah open dialogue blah good faith debate blah blah building bridges blah – get men together to tell women that men can be women and women need to shut up. How to have this open dialogue good faith debate to build bridges? Via two men who pretend to be women. Sheer genius!

Got questions? Ask two men larping as women!

Do you have questions about medical care? Ask a doctor. Oh, wait, this is Canada, where trans conversion is banned. Never mind.

If only we could discuss the steamrolling of women’s rights in a less “polarising and poisonous” way?

This is oddly reminescent of Christians holding “Ask a Christian” events because they believe themselves to be deeply misunderstood by all those God-hating atheists. Incidentally, on the rare occasions where I ran into such events and took the bait, I’ve found that I was not, in fact, welcome to ask all that much. I’ve also found that the Christians manning these booths amost always respond to tricky questions by changing the topic and asking about my faith background, as if it had any relevance, because these are wackos who have been trained to take any dissent as if it were victimisation from ignorant atheists.

But I’m sure nothing of the kind will happen here.

I would ask two connected questions:

    1) Do we agree that “sex” is different than “gender”?

(Presumed answer being “yes,” I ask )

    2) Given the distinction between “sex” and “gender,” why is there any need whatsoever to turn all of those positions, facilites, and rights hostorically designated by “sex” into mixed-sex ones?
