NBC spits on women

What a disgusting way of putting it.

It’s not any kind of blow to lesbian rights or gay rights or bisexual rights. It’s also not a blow to trans rights, because trans rights don’t mean men can play in women’s sports. Men don’t have any right to play in women’s sports, no matter how they “identify”.

The news article is just as bad and there’s more of it.

WASHINGTON — Delivering another major blow to LGBTQ rights, the Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld state laws that ban transgender athletes from participating in girls’ and women’s sports.

Go to hell, NBC News. Why do you put the putative rights of trans people ahead of those of girls and women? Why do you put the highly contested “rights” of men who claim to be women ahead of those of girls and women? Why do you frame men who claim to be women as massively important and women as trivial spiteful nothings? Why do you buy into this abusive grotesque ass-backward framing?

I don’t suppose we’ll ever know.

    And why do they never correct the basic lie in this headline? No, state laws do not ban transgender athletes from participating in women’s sport. Only transgender athletes who are male are prohibited from participating in women’s sport; transgender athletes who are female can carry on (barring use of performance-enhancing drugs like testosterone).

    “During the end of that year, about two to three times per week, B.P.J. would look at me and say ‘suck my dick.’ There were usually other girls around who heard this. I heard B.P.J. say the same thing to my other teammates, too,” Cross said.

    “B.P.J. made other more explicit sexual statements that felt threatening to me. At times, B.P.J. told me quietly ‘I’m gonna stick my dick into your pussy.’ And B.P.J. sometimes added ‘and in your ass,’ as well. These comments were disturbing and caused me deep distress.”

    The sexual abuse took place while Pepper-Jackson shared a locker room with the teen girls, as well as during track practice, Cross said. The comments made the girl feel “confused and disgusted,” she explained, “especially confusing because I was told that B.P.J. was on the girls’ team because B.P.J. identifies as a girl, but the girls on the team never talked like that.”

    Concerned, Cross reported the sexual comments to her track coach and to school administrators. However, “nothing changed,” she said, and Pepper-Jackson “got very little or no punishment” for saying things other students would be penalized for.
