A comment to that post is worth amplifying:
If this were just an intellectual debate with no real-world consequences, it wouldn’t have become so heated. But some parents have swallowed this ideology like the poisoned Kool-Aid – so much so that they have sacrificed their own children on the altar of this most contemporary of cults.
And once you’ve done that, there’s no turning back. You can’t resile from what you’ve said and simply walk away with peace in your heart, because your child bears the scars of your ideology. Literally.
Unfortunately, because of this, those who have perhaps, with the best intentions, harmed their children in the name of gender ideology will fight to the death to avoid admitting the horror they have enabled.
