We’re the ones who ignore reality? As opposed to the people who insist that humans can change sex?
How does that make sense? How is Jon Ronson defining “reality”? Does Jon Ronson really think that, say, “India” Willoughby is a woman?
Jon Ronson probably have looked deeper into that titular Castle. There’s a very high likelihood there’s at least one trans identified individual in a dungeon somewhere.
I tried to read Ronson’s piece in the Guardian. (Somebody had to do it!) I gave up because the writing was just too bad. Ronson loves florid descriptive digressions, which might actually be tolerable if they were remotely accurate but they almost certainly aren’t. Case in point, there are, of course, no “vast medieval castle[s]” in Connecticut, because apart from the obvious fact that there are no medieval buildings of any sort in Connecticut, the “castle” in question is tiny by castle standards (and is, as you might expect, nothing like a real castle). Ronson, being Welsh, surely knows this, given the number of castles the English gifted the Welsh with,* but he’s happy to go with it in anyway. Also, I don’t care about his colon.
Look, I love atmospheric writing but if it claims to be about actual events and people it has to be accurate. Based on an admittedly small sample, Ronson’s is not accurate and the atmosphere is one of stale farts.
*They were of course thinking about how the future tourism revenue would be a boon to the Welsh economy.
The trans cult seeks to ruin manhood, and womanhood for that matter. How utterly backward. Of course ‘manhood’ requires some unpacking, but defending and protecting women and their rights has to be part of that. Protecting and defending men who insist they’re women while these men infiltrate women only spaces and endeavors is a decidedly unmanly and morally indefensible position. I recommend they get off of “social” media to prevent further brain rot.
What could be more ruinous to manhood than becoming trans, anything? Is right wrong, is up down, is day night, etc… Deliberately ignoring the obvious has become the fashionable thing for a lot of these fraudsters. It’s all built on a lie.
