I have to admit I got a great belly laugh from “womb lizard”. From now on, that is going to be how I think of fetuses – I just hope I don’t accidentally slip and use it in class.

If you actually do slip with the “womb lizard” in class, I’m sure you could find a way to turn it into a lesson on embryonic recapitulation.
