SEAN HANNITY (HOST): Colonel, you alerted me before we came on the air. I made some phone calls, top sources in Israel have confirmed that multiple rockets were fired at Israel within the last couple hours. And Israel has in fact — they were fired from Syria, Israel has responded. No Israelis were injured, though, in the attack against them. This having to do with Israel’s previous military attacks against Syria in recent weeks. Nothing to do with the Iranian deal, I was told, at a very high level.
OLIVER NORTH: Yeah, well, look, never believe an Iranian because if their lips are moving, they are lying.

One problem with representative government is the fact that the people democratically elected to office are commonly not themselves democrats. (Note: small ‘d’.) So it came to pass that in 1953, the democratically elected governments of Britain and the US conspired with the Iranian anti-democrats headed by the reactionary Pahlevi bunch to overthrow the democratically elected Iranian government led by Mohammad Mossadeq, and replaced it with the murderous Pahlevi dynasty led by the Shah.
And when the Shah was eventually overthrown, he was not replaced by democrats, but by the antidemocratic Islamic mullahs, who understandably regard the US as ‘the Great Satan.’
So a whole flock of chickens came home to roost. Big time; particularly if it eventually eventually results in a nuclear war.

The warmongers are at it again, the US is threatening war with Iran. Another ‘threat’ to Israel will be eliminated, at potentially a huge cost in human lives.
US policy in the ME is morally bankrupt and directed by imbeciles, they learn nothing they understand nothing.
Yes; the whole point of all this posturing is just the prelude to war. I’d take war with Iran as a given at this point. Yet another pointless conflict over nothing that doesn’t further American interests in the least but serves as a gimme to the Saudis, the Israelis, and the iron mongers.
…and that’s without factoring in the human cost.
North also claims that the campaigners for tighter gun control are civil terrorists, and not only likened the NRA to Jim Crow-era civil rights activists but stated that the NRA has it worse than those activists, suffering “….the kind of thing that’s never been seen against a civil rights organization in America,”
The head of the fucking NRA is playing the victim card! Remind me, please, how many black men, women, and children were beaten, shot, or blown up -either by the police, National Guard, or civilian counter-activists (read: racist mobs) – whilst campaigning for basic civil rights and equality. Now tell me how many NRA members have suffered so much as a scratch in their ‘struggle’.
