Incitement of violence

Worse again.

We saw this one yesterday, 17 hours ago.

The next are 5 hours ago, 7:30 a.m DC time.

A set of three over a period of 12 hours, deliberately consciously in defiance of all pleas and remonstrances, working to incite violence against journalists. Three times in 12 hours – Fake News, Fake & Dishonest reporting,  inaccurate and even fraudulent, Fake News Media, true Enemy of the People, Fake News.

I am sure he enjoys doing this. I am curious if the increased frequency of attacks on the press will help him. It’s not really vitriol but noise. Like a pastor spewing the same sermon repetitively.

Last night on CBS, the Repugnacans ran an add that basically claimed that if you vote for any democrat the country will go up in flames. It made the Daisy ad look like a love letter to Goldwater.

And so many of my friends who are not Republicans and do not like the Republicans play the “both sides” game. Oh, they all do it. They are all corrupt. They are all evil. They are all bad.

Yes, every politician in this country is as bad as D. J. Trump, Ted Cruz, Scott Walker, etc – No. There are no perfect politicians (and never will be) but there are definitely some that will be better than others, and some that will be a lot better. And right now the status quo doesn’t look so bad (the old status quo, not the new one that the Donald has created, I mean).

If he wants to end the fake news, then maybe he should shut up. That would be a good start.
