He can’t fathom that it is impossible to gaslight an entire country; when you are president, everything is recorded.
No, he can’t. Dud theory of mind again. He thinks if he says it everyone will accept it as true, because he’s the one saying it. He doesn’t think about it further than that. Just tell the lie; everyone will accept it.
So far he has only gaslighted (gaslit?) the same audience as ever. He doesn’t need the entire country, just a cadre of billionaires and the trailer trash who actually vote.
That’s right, he even predicted the covfefe 19 outbreak like 3 years ago!
