Aka ho, aka whore. Medal of freedom guy Limbaugh calls Kamala Harris a ho. This is hell, nor are we out of it.

Then there is this from The Spectator: “Why It Should Matter to Women That Kamala Slept Her Way Up.” Whoa! You know what that’s about? That’s about Willie Brown.

It’s awful that stories and confabulations about such things are “women sleeping their way up” rather than “men abusing power by extorting sexual favors from women in exchange for career support”.
Or (at least in this case) two adults had a mutually consensual relationship.
That’s certainly how it struck me – that Harris and Brown had a relationship once upon a time, and sexist racist shits translated that into her being a “mattress.”
But you see, if a woman has had sex, she is unfit for public office, because, well, promiscuous.
If a woman has not had sex, she is unfit for public office because, well, cold and uncaring. A ball-buster.
If a woman has children, she is unfit because she will need to care for her children.
If a woman has no children, she is unfit because she is not a mother.
Funny how men don’t seem to have these same assumptions. The women lose no matter how you parse it, but the men just keep on ruling the world.
Nothing new for Limbaugh. Back in 2008, he did a piece on Obama vs. Clinton in the Democratic primary using a garden metaphor that was just an excuse to make “spade” and “hoe” jokes:

(In the new clip Limbaugh doesn’t sound like himself at all, no doubt due to the cancer and treatments for it. The crazy thing is he looks great. It makes me think of the stories you hear of people being congratulated for losing weight when they’re wasting away due to a fatal illness.)
Willie Brown was notorious, on several fronts, including his behavior with women. Whether he was abusive or coercive? I don’t know off hand. Every woman in California politics would have been exposed to him to some degree. Whether Harris had any intimate connection with him, legit or otherwise, doesn’t seem to be established at all.
Sort of off topic here, but this caught my eye. Yes, and anorexics. When I was trying to recover from anorexia, people (even in my therapy groups) kept saying they wished they had my problem. Seriously? No, you don’t. I was on the path toward destruction, and didn’t even look good. Of course, I started at the lowish end of healthy for my height before I lost weight, and only those who think emaciated looks good would think I looked good.
Sorry for the digression. It’s just something that gets up my nose.
