The title of this post is problematic. How do you know that the Anser in question is not in fact a trans gander?

I admit that in a former occupation I was guilty of misgendering a goose.
I wish that were a prelude to a more interesting story, but that’s about it.

Worse than that, every time you use ‘have a gander’ to mean ‘have a look’, you are committing real goose genocide.
