I am honestly still of the view that most women have no idea that their rights are evaporating right now; and that those with a little knowledge still think there are exceptions being properly guarded by funded and staffed organisations that do such things; and that of those who realise it really is all gone, most are still unable or unwilling to say anything.
The first group with no idea look at those speaking up (in the unlikely event that encounter such a person) as nutters and conspiracy theorists (because it sounds crazy saying the entire women’s liberation legacy is being handed over to male bullies).
The second group who think exceptions still apply and can be enforced, the same.
The unable and unwilling aren’t stupid in staying silent. Their livelihoods and mental health are on the line.
We need a coordinated effort where they can’t pick us off one by one.

Arcadia, there’s another group – the group that thinks everything is getting better because TikTok feminists. Tiktok feminists what, you ask? I have no fucking clue, but I was told if I just went to Tiktok and listened to young feminists, I would know the future is in good hands. Except I expect what I would find there is wokeness. And I am no more likely to do Tiktok than to do Twitter, because social media is not a good place for the asocial.

Oh, very true. I see such handmaids on the regular, saying how fired up young women are, as they organise a protest to get women’s sex based rights abolished, and ensure that all men (AND women, of course) can buy sex. Because women’s liberation is servicing male genitals for money and never saying no to men.
