Well, that’s something. I still have to wonder where, on the ‘hate crime’ scale, the police will place that threat; compared to, say, re-tweeting a photograph of a ribbon on a fence…

I’m sure it won’t go well for them. They’ve “excluded” the student. That’s tantamount to genocide right there.

I wasn’t aware of the initial response, the “grave error of judgement”, that has now led to the resignation of a staff member. I am curious what happened, but I am impressed that the school described it as they did, did not extrapolate, and is not pushing further. There are a lot of “heat of the moment” responses, positive and negative, to events, and they are sometimes disproportionate.
