How dare you?

And then Philip Pullman.

How dare we accuse him of sending mixed messages when he interrupts himself talking about abuse of a woman to say he opposes “transphobia” – which as we know all too well can mean anything and everything and is often just a pretext for bullying women. So that’s how we “dare.”

Sad. I love Pullman’s novels. So many people I otherwise respect are 110% into the anti-rational ideology and its enforcers.

I wonder when all the celebrities who have done so well from @jk_rowling’s work will pluck up the courage to condemn the threats she receives daily.

We’ve already seen utter cowardice from the trio that benefited the most from her work, so don’t hold your breath.

That shit with the Gryffindor kids pissing me off more than many things… if there’s one thing you don’t do it’s stab your benefactor in the back to score points. You do not necessarily owe her your support but for damn sure you owe her your fucking silence.

    Dishonourable little shits…

BKiSA, don’t you know? Kids don’t owe us oldsters anything. It was them that did her the favor, of course. By loaning their incredible talent to her crappy books. You know how it is. Why, she may even be a Boomer! (She was born in 1965; that’s sort of in the gray zone. It’s about the beginning of Gen X, but with a lot of Boomer culture holding on). Besides, they didn’t need her to get their start! With their talent and hard work, why, anyone would have wanted them! Kids know more than adults on every subject every time, especially if the adult disagrees with the kids.
