A bright afternoon

It’s physical.

But. It seems the aggression failed.

One of the signs carried by the trans reactionaries says “PROTECT TRANS LESBIANS.” Protect them from whom exactly? What is it that they’re being threatened with? Involuntary celibacy? Are they calling for compulsory “dating?” They are just a logical step or two away from corrective rape, though I’m sure they would use some sort of glitter rainbow euphemism to try to make it sound a bit less rapey.

YNNB: indeed… case in point: the “trans activism embraces lesbian” sign could be read as technically harmless but is directly threatening in the context of signs like “trans rights now bitch”. Much welcoming, such progressive.

I’m intrigued by the sign that reads “protect trans lesbians.” Protect them from what, exactly? Being turned down by “cis” lesbians? Being told that they’re not real lesbians? Are these really civil rights issues?

I recently saw a ‘meme’, A very pudgy dog lying on the floor with the caption

    ” I identify as thin.

    I am trans-slender”

Protect them from not getting what they want, experiencing horrendous, indescribable, immeasurable suffering known as gender dysphoria, and then committing suicide. I suspect that most trans supporters’ rhetoric amounts to rationalizing an inability to respond to the threat of suicide.
