Oxfam does this year after year. This year in particular, we learned a tiny bit about the extent to which disabled women are abused and we – the world – were horrified for about 35 seconds. And then went back to celebrate the most marginalised etc etc doing whatever they wish.
And so Oxfam delights in putting disabled women second.
I’m writing a thing at the moment about disabled women needing access to single-sex care. It’s hard. The women I’m talking to are terrified.
But let’s celebrate not-women who don’t have these problems, right?
Share it with us when you’ve written it.
Will do.
Yes please, this sounds like something worth reading and sharing widely.
Do you suppose these Oxfam workers raped a single trans-woman in Haiti? Or, when it comes to where they put their dicks instead of their mouths, do they suddenly know the difference?
