I wonder if that has anything to do with much of their resources being poured into funding spurious legal actions brought against them…
Far as I can tell, a grant was awarded in early-to-mid-2022 to start up the helpline. I don’t know how long it takes to arrange such a thing, but committees gonna committee so it would seem premature to me to claim a year later after receiving funding that a planned hotline “never happened”.

Very like the conservatives of the 80’s spending all their effort to reduce funding for poverty programs so that they would fail, and then crowing over the failures.
