Nothing says “You are beneath contempt” quite as well as a man who is convinced that ‘woman’ is merely an idea in his head, which he owns and can do with as he pleases without any negative consequences to himself.

Unless you meant specifically this time. There’s just such a cyclopean mass of things that one could say (because of how much has already been said) that it almost gives me analysis paralysis. Without diligently practicing like someone on a debate team, there’s just no way anyone’s going to be able to select the most perfectly appropriate and pithy jab on the spot.
