That feel

When oh when oh when will adults stop talking this childish nonsense?

One, that “There’s no rationality” is laughable. JKR makes rational arguments, and she’s damn good at it. Rationality is exactly what there is. It’s highly eccentric to announce that there’s no rationality and then immediately talk about men who “feel” they are women with the implication that we should all agree with such men.

Two, that is not hate.

Knowing that a man is a man is not hate.

Women need to know who is a man. It’s not hate to know that and it’s not hate to say it.

I’ll tell you what I do hate though: I hate this mindless formulaic drivel pouring out of the mouths of people in government. That’s what I hate.

We’ve escaped much of the trans nonsense in France (though it may come). However, today we were reading women’s magazine called Femina (a giveaway with some newspapers). Mostly it treats women as women, and rarely discusses pretend women (or pretend men for that matter — more relevant to what I’m going to say). There was a letter from a woman who had transitioned to become a man. Before her transition she had had some of her ova frozen and stored. She’s now upset that under French law she’s not allowed to use her ova now that she’s recognized to be a man.

If she really wanted kids for the sake of having kids, why not have them, then transition? The fact she planned to have kids after transitioning implies that she was planning on making a (misguided) political and sociological point, and probably seeking publicity and brave hero status at the same time. Bugger the risk to the kids and the publicity that would forever be attached to them.

She should reject a peerage on the basis of Kemi Badenoch suggesting a t if anything… That and these non-hereditary peerages are ridiculous in any case.

“There are human beings that feel they are a woman.”

    Says it all, really.
