So much need to have the attention on them. So much need to ignore the rights and needs of everyone else in the pursuit of their own privileges. What more could we need to demonstrate that they are, in fact, men?

I beg and beseech them to repent and accept what they have helped bring about before they are more complicit in the unforgivable than they already are.

    That sounds vaguely familiar.

“Your own guilt is too much for you to bear. Bring not therefore upon yourselves the blood of innocent men […] from whose eyes you hid a better knowledge! […] I beseech you, in the bowels of Christ, think it possible that you may be mistaken.”

Oliver Cromwell, writing to the General Assembly of the Kirk of Scotland, in August 1650.

As every schoolchild knows, Cromwell was a nasty piece of work who turned out be on the wrong side of history.

I think that some of the things in Trumps ‘trans’ policy are totally anodyne and appropriate. Then again there is an awful lot of utterly performative and unnecessary cruelty. It has to be said that trans people are not the only ones being targeted this way. There is more than enough performative cruelty and discrimination going on for many from female astronomers of colour, women in the military and encryption, black airmen, and just anyone who believes in their oath to protect the Constitution. However, as I predicted a couple of weeks back, the trans issue has become an absolute litmus test. You’re for ‘trans rights’ or you’re for Trump and probably a nazi to boot.

Is this victim posturing part of the sex fetish?

As usual, no evidence presented of a supposed pogrom against trans people.

Given that there are trans activists in the United States who have weapons and are prepared to use them (such as the Zizians) *, these posts by Roz Kaveney can only be described as horrifically irresponsible.

Roz Kaveney has been spreading conspiracy theories about all-powerful “GCs” allied with Trump and Putin for years.

    Kaveney also wrote last year:

There are at least sixteen trans kids dead by their own hands through despair over NHS removal of gender-affirming care. This gets no media coverage. J.K.Rowling complains that Keir Starmer doesn’t hate trans people as much as she does. This is a top story everywhere.

So Kaveney deliberately spread a false claim about sixteen minors who’d died by suicide, with no evidence to back this claim up.

    Again, horrifically irresponsible.
