We need to let you know

Do people even understand their own words?

Incredible enough?

“We are a proudly inclusive and respectful space for all people”

Except, of course, you, because we don’t like your thinking.

“regardless of gender identity, background, or beliefs.”

Except, of course, your beliefs. We’re wonderful people, hugely kind and welcoming, except when you walk in to get a haircut.

“We believe in equal rights, dignity, and safety for everyone”

Except, of course, for you. We passionately disbelieve in your rights and your dignity, and we want you not to have any safety.

Men are women if they say they are. You are evil. Have a nice day.

We are a proudly inclusive and respectful space for all people . . .

. . . except women. We are NOT inclusive of women, or respectful to women. Of course, “all people” has never meant “women.”

    . . . regardless of gender identity, background, or beliefs . . .

. . . but we DO take account of sex, by which we mean that we’re happy to disregard women, the backgrounds of women, or the beliefs of women, especially when women know that human beings cannot change their biological sex. So, if you know that men aren’t women, or that children are being sterilized after being sold a bill of goods that they can change their sex (even though no one has ever done so), we do regard your sex, background, and beliefs as abhorrent. You’re horrible for not believing lies, and for wanting children to be safe.

We believe in equal rights, dignity, and safety for everyone.

Except that, of course we don’t believe in equal rights or dignity or safety for women. The hell with women’s rights, women’s dignity, or women’s safety. GDIAF, you TERF.

One has to wonder how that topic even comes up in conversation with a hair stylist. Are they running covert purity tests on their clients?

How does this even come up as a topic during a hair appointment? What happened to chatting about uncontroversial things like the weather, and where you are going on holiday? I’d rather walk over hot coals than have an inpromptu discussion of women’s rights vs trans rights with anyone from the “I have to see them regularly but don’t know them well” category of people.

Oh, that’s odd, AoS’s coment just appeared when I posted but with a much earlier time stamp. Spooky!
