Clear symptom of someone who never reads anything, not even headlines. We don’t use scare quotes for commonplace figures of speech. We say “I don’t give a rat’s ass,” not “I don’t give ‘a rat’s ass'”. We all already know that “rat’s ass” is a figure of speech. Bonus: if you say it aloud to a person, don’t make air quotes with your pudgy fingers, either. Superfluous. Not needed. Excess to requirements. Maek you look dumm.

Ross Perot came close in the 90s with his Reform Party, but he’s not wrong (in terms of the election process). Musk doesn’t have the clout to form a new political party, or the brains. It’ll never happen.
The Republican Party started as a third party. But also at least some third parties influenced policy, even if they didn’t have electoral success (the Bull Moose Party and Perot’s version of the Reform Party, to name two).
But anyway, the best outcome here would be for Musk to break the gop in two, and let the Democrats take over.

At least Musk isn’t qualified to run for president, but even if he was, he’s not the most popular guy in the world right now. Asking people to support a ketamine fueled fantasy political party is ridiculous. Trump and his groupies aren’t going to jump on that idea either. Even Coel doesn’t come here to defend Elon’s stupid ass anymore.
He is right, though, as What A Maroon suggests, that it would take less than people tend to think in order for a third political party to have meaningful political power. It just takes embracing the spoiler role and using that as leverage rather than measuring success by elections won. A sufficiently organized spoiler can extract concessions from one of the two major parties as a price not to be a spoiler. It’s just a larger application of what special interest groups and blue dog Democrats already do.
You’ll almost certainly get a solid belly laugh out of this.

Trump owns Truth Social. Surely that’s enough. Its truth, and it’s social. That has to be enough.!! It makes his opponents automatically into antisocial liars. There can only be one Truth. And it fits in so well with “Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Fuhrer!! Sieg Heil.!!!”
