Who on EARTH is dumb enough to say this in public? To, in fact, put it in writing, in a BOOK?

Who wrote that?

It’s hilarious that she thinks it might make her sound “daft” as opposed to grandiose and narcissistic beyond belief.

It’s probably true of most people who go into politics but admitting it is…a bold move.
Her punctuation, is—in; general: terrible – but her “biggest”, at the risk of ‘sounding’ condescending, offense, is that she uses “SCARE” quotes like the Donald!!1

I’d guess that the percentage of people who are “a walking contradiction” is roughly equal to the percentage of countries that are “a land of contrasts”, or sports that are “a game of inches/centimeters”.
Nullius, yes, the editor/writer in me thrashed violently when reading that randomly, punctuated passage. It took all my strength to keep going and even quote it.
