were fizzikkly SIKK
A primary school teacher from Batley has caused uproar today after they refused to teach two 9 year olds who had dressed up as Harry Potter characters for World Book Day!
Ze Berry who does not use conventional pronouns and uses ‘Ze’ instead, says were [sic] physically SICK after seeing the two pupils walk into the classroom who were dressed as Harry Potter and Dobbie The Elf.
Despite parents of the children saying it was an insane overreaction, Ze Berry stood by her decision and said;
“JK Rowling is a transphobic bigot and any character she has created therefore has transphobic undertones which are not tolerated in the classroom.”
Ze Berry is a reasonablepeoplephobic bigot who should not be teaching anyone of any age any subject.
The Mayor Of West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin has lept to the teacher’s defence and stated; “Teachers should feel safe in the classroom. Ze Berry’s actions were justified.”
Well of course teachers should feel safe in the classroom; what’s that got to do with a kid dressing as Harry Potter? Even if you think JKR is wrong about everything, how do you get from there to freaking out over a Harry Potter costume?
We’ll never know.

There were no trans characters in the Harry Potter series for the characters in the stories to react to. It’s quite a stretch for this “Ze” to feel unsafe about dressing up as characters who have shown no percieved “transphobia” unless it’s far removed from what the kids were actually doing, which was dress up as their beloved fictional (non-transphobic) charcters. JKR has the esteemed recognition of encouraging kids to read books, and very successfully so. Whatever vile attitude “Ze” has about JKR, and unjustified to boot, it should have kept it to itself, the flippin’ cream puff. How do these self righteous wackadoodles end up teaching kids anyway…
And furthermore, what kind of poisonous ideology is “Ze” itself bringing to the classroom?
Primary school in the UK is for 5-11-yr-olds, although many schools still go by the older nomenclature of primary from ages 5-7 and junior for 7-11-yr-olds. Leaving aside the obviously fragile little fruit that is Ze Berry, I would certainly question the need for the posters on the wall. The ‘LOVE IS LOVE’ one isn’t problematic as such, but should kids really be getting the message that tautologies are acceptable? But the other two, ‘TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS’ and ‘FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA’, are nothing more than ideological slogans far too nuanced for children of that age to fully comprehend.
I wonder if ‘Ze’ has given so much as a nanosecond of thought to how unsafe that pro-Palestine propaganda – which is in reality a call for the killing or removal of every Jew in the ‘Holy Land’ – may make Jewish teachers, pupils, or parents feel?
Looking closer, I’m sure that ‘Humans of Dewsbury’ is a spoof account using AI images. Poe didn’t know just how prescient he was when he formulated his law.
Hmm. I did wonder. I think I decided it wasn’t wack enough to be fake.
