It’s so creepy. He looks about 12, and as self-confident and smug as Musk himself. This punk was in charge of demolishing great swathes of research on the basis that they were “DEI” and thus evil garbage.

I disagree. This incompetance is completely believeable, and was predicted at the time Musk was given this job. I bet there were bonuses and incentives for higher numbers on the “scorecards,” so the default position would have been to assume uselessness and waste, and to cut things rather than retain them.
Well yes but this is a sort of meta “unbelievable” – more an expression of outrage and contempt than a literal inability to believe. Or it’s both. I mean, I still find Trump hard to believe despite knowing all too well that he is that horrific.
Incompetence or not, he looks like he’s about 16. Why is any organisation assocated in any way with any government employing people who ought to be doing menial labour for pocket-money?
