Beeb v women
The Beeb is on the hot seat.
Today prog has just told us we will hear a tribute to Jenni Murray from Harriet Harman. Might have been better to get someone to pay tribute who actually stuck up for her after she was isolated for her view that men should not be able to identify into women's spaces and sports.

BBC treated Jenni Murray shamefully when she was alive because she argued for sex-based rights .They continue to now by getting Harman to spout idiocy and by making Women's Hour an unlistenable mash of whispering female presenters awed by men. Jenni was class. That class has gone.

Still seething re Harman disparagingly referring to Jenni Murray as a “protagonist” on sex/gender this morning. Why would you go on radio to talk about someone who just died if you can’t reflect how positively she was regarded by so many, precisely because of her bravery on this?

Aye, such a "formidable voice" that the BBC first silenced her and then bullied her out. Save us your crocodile tears https://t.co/OlegJRVENl

Willoughby making Jenni Murray's death all about himself.
We HEARD YOU on women's hour describing women who don't shave their legs as "dirty". Jenni knew at that moment that you and men like you fetishize womenhood. You are the worst of male bullies. pic.twitter.com/bcD9X59p8A— Kat "I'll bring the sausage rolls" (@KatarinaHill2) March 21, 2026
Hearing Jenni Murray on the R4 again makes me realise just how much I missed her presence at the BBC in recent years.
