How on earth does one go about sifting through a sea of red tape?

Beware of those intrusive apostrophes, too. There is no apostrophe in the plural phrase “my partners”. See also:

my hats

my books

my intentions

my horrified stares

No apostrophes there. They don’t belong.

    Those apostrophes are really aggressive, aren’t they? I had three of them insert themselves where they didn’t belong today! It’s really hard to control them…
