Nothing wrong with being called a transphobe. As Venice Allan noted, “Trans rights means the right to lie about your sex. Transphobia is refusing to believe that lie.”

Acolyte of Sagan: In order to actually crash on those shoals, Jolyon would need to be pinned into a description of ‘transphobia’. If that, in turn, was defamatory, then it would be libel. If it were just a general term meaning, “Doesn’t think penises belong in women’s locker rooms or prisons,” then he’d be in the clear, but making that admission would undermine his position.

Freemage, I suppose that’s the beauty (and I used the word quite wrongly) of using vaguely-defined terms, even though everybody knows what they are intended to mean.
Mostly Cloudy, I’m guessing that this little stunt is his attempt at revenge because JKR put the lie to his claim that they were once friends.
