Does Allah hate women?

Duh. Of course he does. Allah is a bro; women are whores.

A hate preacher described women as “wild animals” in a sermon that went ahead after the Home Office rejected calls to ban him from the UK.

Yusri Jabar, an Egyptian lecturer, gave two sermons on Sunday and Monday at a London mosque previously attended by one of Britain’s first known suicide bombers.

Mr Jabar was allowed to enter Britain despite Labour and Tory MPs urging Shabana Mahmood, the Home Secretary, to revoke his visa on public safety grounds.

Mr Jabar referred to women in one of the sermons during his latest visit as being “exactly like a wild animal, you just need to train her … so she doesn’t go more wild. And all goes back to Sharia”.

And who is this “you”? Men, of course. Women are never included in an imam’s “you” because women are not people, women are wild animals – the bitey kind.

The Charity Commission said it had opened a “regulatory compliance” case following serious concerns about an individual connected to the mosque.

“Charities must not allow their premises, events or online content to become forums for hate speech against any community,” said a spokesman.

“The public, rightly, expects charities to bring people together not to stoke division. When such allegations arise we will, within our regulatory remit, deal with it robustly.”

Yeah see you still don’t get it. You’re still using the emollient safe tame words to hide the reality of what this women-hating fanatic told an audience. He didn’t “stoke division”; he told men to treat women – all women – like wild animals. (And he didn’t mean watch them from a respectful distance and otherwise leave them alone.)

    I have long maintained that Islam is entry-level fascism. Authoritarians simplify political economy enormously by reducing it to a matter of the Righteous vs the Unrighteous, the Sacred vs the Profane, between those born to be servants, and those to be their masters, etc.

    Under Sharia law, the Umma represents the collective community of Muslim believers, while Dhimmis are non-Muslim citizens of an Islamic state granted protected status under a legal contract. While the Umma holds full political and religious privileges, Dhimmis have restricted rights and must pay a special tax in exchange for protection.

    And so, it comes to pass that we have: 1. Umma men, 2. Umma women, 3. Dhimmi men, and 4. Dhimmi women. Except, maybe categories 2 and 3 above should be the other way around.

    If sufficient people think along such lines, life can get very complicated rather quickly. Vide the politics of the Middle East.

    Such sermons may be divisive at some level, but they are also unifying a specific community.,

    And they’re unifying that community to treat women like [dangerous] wild animals. Their message is to hate and suspect and punish women, all women, any women. But the Home Office is cool with that because hey, it’s only women.

    No women I know would likely tolerate any “training.”

    Anecdotally of course, but when I was young I worked for a few horse trainers, and I can tell you it looked more like abuse, some more abusive than others, but all methods involved an overpowering of the animal’s will. And horses have been domesticated for millenia, and are more submissive to our manipulations, so I’m wondering what kind of “training” a wild animal would require. Or human females (with all their faculties). I’m guessing a disturbing amount of violent abuse.

    How self-unaware does one have to be to not understand the malevolence of these so called “teachings.” This type of thing fuels my misanthropic tendencies greatly.

    Yes there’s been a lot of progress since I was a kid, and gentle training is much better. Knowing horses like I do, and their willingness to be your friend, and their eagerness to please, I wondered a lot back then about the trainers, and why would they want the horses to fear them or hate them? So much more is possible. My horse acted like a big loveable puppy dog. They respond so much better to positive reinforcement and affection. :) Thanks for the link!

    I was just thinking how wild animals are so amazing that being likened to one wouldn’t be much of an insult to me really, but being accused from the perspective of people who fear them, or consider them less, it’s outrageously condescending.

    I’ve seen a lot of people abuse dogs to train them, too. With dogs, I sort of understand why (I don’t agree with it); they want them to be mean, to attack those who are not their owners. Why in the world would you want a horse to be mean?

    You don’t even have to be mean for a horse to let you know they are cross with you, they’ll let you know. I had a black and blue welt or several on my back from being bit over the years (they wait till you’re not looking (when tightening the cinch usually). Those are warnings, being kicked is a different story, luckily I never pissed one off that bad. ;)

    I got kicked by an elephant once. Was airborn for a second. Interesting experience.

    The idea about horses was that you had to “break their spirit” – much like slaves, women, workers, native peoples, etc…

    Yes exactly, it’s about domination, control, exploitation, and commodification. But it’s wrong headed. All they do is create a bitter, ticking time bomb. Yes you can make people and other creatures submit, but fueling that kind of resentment does no one any good, neither the oppressors or the oppressed enjoy life under those terms. It’s a genuine wonder how things like the total forced submission of women under some religious regimes even exist in today’s world, not to mention the horrors of factory farming, etc. (More fuel for my misanthropic tendencies, ack!)

    I’m fortunate that I never got kicked by anything bigger than my sister (who, to be honest, was bigger than me). But I have been bit by a dog, and having a dog come at you is horribly scary, especially when it’s a German Shepard and you’re nine years old. I stay away from big dogs.

    They are wild animals.

    Animals that are produced by selective breeding are called domestic, or domesticated. All the other animals–that are not produced by selective breeding–those are called wild animals. Humans are not produced by selective breeding. Humans are wild animals. It’s just what the word means.

    I think Jabar’s problem is that he wants the women to be domesticated. He wants the women to be in a selective breeding program where–of course–he gets to do the selecting.

    Am I right?

    Animals that are produced by selective breeding are called domestic, or domesticated. All the other animals–that are not produced by selective breeding–those are called wild animals. Humans are not produced by selective breeding. Humans are wild animals. It’s just what the word means.

    I think Jabar’s problem is that he wants the women to be domesticated. He wants the women to be in a selective breeding program where–of course–he gets to do the selecting.

    Am I right?

    Sounds about right. Humans do sometimes select who they breed with, though; self-domestication is posited for humans.
