Shells

Trump is so mad at the Supreme Court.

Trump upbraided Supreme Court justices as “shells” beholden to “crazed” liberal interests in a lengthy online screed a day after the court blocked his plan to execute dramatic changes to mail-in voting ahead of the midterms.

“These are not the people I interviewed to serve on the United States Supreme Court, they are merely a shell of their original selves,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Tuesday.

They were supposed to side with him every single time no matter what! Surely they knew that. It’s all so shocking.

None of the justices Trump appointed to the court during his first term — Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch or Amy Coney Barrett — noted disagreement with the majority opinion blocking the mail-voting changes.

Traitors!

The justices appointed by Dubya and GHW Bush did side with Trump. Trump can’t even appoint reliable lickspittles.

From Trump’s rant, quoted in the CNN piece,

“It is a Court that will go down as having rendered some of the most destructive, hurtful, and damaging decisions in our Country’s history”

I can’t disagree with that. He went on,

“It is not easy for me to write this criticism of the United States Supreme Court – it will likely cost me dearly for years to come”

    I sincerely hope so.

And today a court ruled that he can’t have his name anywhere on the Kennedy Center, and they can’t rename the location to Trump Plaza. Hoping against hope that this is what finally causes the rage-stroke.

As far as he’s concerned, there is no reason for any memorial to anyone else unless it contains his name, as well. Congress did the right thing in putting the ‘no other plaques or memorials’ thing in the law creating it, almost like they anticipated Trump.
