Do you think they would accept a falafel care package?

Isn’t the mail a federal thing?

Also…who do they think is going to deliver the snacks once they have arrived in Burns? How do they think anyone is going to deliver them? Also why didn’t they plan ahead?

When I plan a terrorist act I always form committees. A decorations committee, a snacks committee, a committee to secure permission slips from participants’ parents. And I always recommend bringing at last 50 cents just in case.

Must not have been Girl Scouts. We never went 20 miles, to weekend camp, without plenty of snacks.

I hope the post office employees enjoy the snacks. While nothing is supposed to stop the federal mail, delivering to arm insurrectionists ought to be the exception.

I think the feds let them have pizza deliveries the last time they pulled this shit.

The use of the word “infidel” is pretty much always a signal that the person using it is an arsehole, whether they be Islamist or Islamophobe.

Adding “rogue” as a prefix is, accordingly, like adding the word “monumental” to “arsehole”.

I think the usual idea in a siege is that it is better to have the gunmen comfortable and bored rather than desperate.

Probably partially that, but I suspect there is also some PR involved. I don’t imagine it plays well if the news shows pictures of starving people next to well fed federal agents. Builds sympathy for the terrorists, in a way.
