I got to see the diver I’d just been watching in the forest: a dude with a long grey pony tail, a hipster moustache, and tattoos.
Yup. I used to know biologists at the Seattle Aquarium who dove – I think they all had to be certified divers as well as biologists. Anyway they all liked the job quite a bit.

Also, too, there are kelp forests in Puget Sound. It’s fun to take a kayak out on a warm summer day and paddle around in the “canopy” of the forests.
