All that padding, and he still couldn’t quite reach 140 characters.
Is Trump even aware that MLK was, like, black, and worked to achieve some dignity for his people in the face of white oppression? I’ve seen fortune cookies with more profundity.
Not all Presidents have been literate or articulate. Could he be the worst in this respect?
Does Trump even know that he’s working against many of those many wonderful things? Does he even know what those many wonderful things are? He’s safely dead and can’t respond. If he were still alive Trump would be accusing him of ‘just talk”.
In a delicious note of irony – an ice storm has forced all those institutions in my area (schools, mostly) that don’t give MLK day off to close down for the day – the weather giving MLK celebrants their day off. Unfortunately, most of the people who would celebrate MLK day can’t do anything other than stay at home, because the roads really are very bad.
Icing on cake? Maybe not exactly.
