    And if I recall correctly, as is often the case with leakers, Mark Felt (“Deep Throat”)’s motives in leaking to Woodward and Bernstein weren’t 100% patriotic concern for good government. It doesn’t retroactively let Nixon off the hook. No doubt some of the people leaking to the press today about the Trump Administration have motives that aren’t 100% noble and pure, too, and again it doesn’t change the importance of the leaked information.
