Well – I imagine Kris Kobach may want to interfere with the voter registry to make sure the voters who did that won’t be able to going forward. And clerks who are ordered by courts to leave voter records alone in the face of such assistance – in the plausible event it’s ruled unconstitutional – and then ignore the courts can similarly expect pardons out of His Supreme Crime Boss.
