A string of vulgar clichés

Huh. I’ve wondered before why Claire Lehmann is a thing, and now I wonder that little bit more.

I grew up poor and have zero guilt, too. I do, however, have empathy and compassion.

Loving the rich does in fact mean “hating” the poor, though it may not be overt hate, any more than misogyny really means hating women. But it means accepting the idea that some people will work extremely hard for very little money so that other people can sit in the lap of luxury, gained from the work done by those they pay almost nothing. Loving the rich means accepting that some people will be stomped down, repressed, threatened, even arrested and imprisoned at times, if they try to better their station in life. Because the minute they better their station, it reduces the money of the rich, and even if that’s by such a small fraction they shouldn’t even notice it, that is cause for alarm among those who love the rich.

So, I’ve had to invest a few minutes into finding out who Lehman is…another boilerplate ‘libertarian’ pseudo-rationalist, post Bell-Curve troll.

Equating not treating the rich as special and those to whom we owe for being so with hate the rich is a hell of a giveaway!

zubanel, it’s the way things are in this brave new world. If you’re not 100% for then you are 200% against.

Is that like women having to do things twice as well as trans women to be thought half as good?
