Why does anyone think that he is not demented?
Quite apart from the fact that rape has nothing to do with whether a person is your ‘type’ or not, I can believe that the current E Jean is not Trump’s type. However, the E Jean from 23 years ago looked very much Trump’s type – a slim attractive blonde. Given Trumps behaviour in the past, his own words and demonstrated attitude towards women and the multiplicity of similar stories from women with nothing to gain and much to loose going public; I’m inclined to give this story credence.
Didn’t he make this kind of denial during the campaign?

He wanted to make sure it was clear that “she’s not my type” had priority as a response over “it never happened”. He spelled it out that that was the more important of the two.
