Oh but wait though, what’s that ugly thing in the line above? “Men”? That can’t be right. On the one hand men, on the other hand uterus holding individuals? Do these rules apply only to women?

I’ve yet to hear of TRAs insisting that ads or informative articles about prostate cancer stop using the word “men” in favor of “people with prostates.”
Wait. What? Women hold their uteruseses? That’s just plain nuts, not to mention damned inconvenient. I never knew! I thought those puppies were installed internally in the factory, I had no idea that they were designed as a carry-on item. How are women supposed to get anything done if their hands are always full of uterii? You think someone would put them in wheels, or add a strap or lanyard for greater portability. And if you’re at a gathering, you’ve always got to be careful that you haven’t walked off with anyone else’s (or that nobody else has made off with yours). I imagine some sort of tag or label with the owners name (or at least initials) would be pretty much mandatory. No wonder women are pissed off. Talk about shoddy design and workmanship. Geez.
Now, as for penis holding individuals, there are far too many of them who are content to be totally preoccupied with doing nothing but…

I seem to remember hearing that it was wrong to “reduce people to their genitalia,” or is that only if the speaker or writer is “cis”?

And only if the person being spoken about is trans. If the subject is cis, it’s gentalia all the way. We have uteri, they are women, period. If they must speak genitally, their penises are “girl dicks” or “external vaginas”. They get to define their own genitalia, and ours.
And obviously have nothing but contempt for women who were born without a uterus, or were born with one but lost it later (probably because we forgot to put our initials on it). Oh, wait, that’s because we are “old feminists”, because no young feminist would have been so careless as to have lost her uterus. And “old feminists” are washed up, ridiculous has beens that think men aren’t women.
Have any prominent trans activists made statements condemning these recent draconian abortion laws? It’s entirely possible I missed it, but a brief search turned up nothing. The transwomen activists I could think of are mostly busy defunding rape crisis centers and otherwise shoehorning transwomen into women’s spaces, not defending any of the rights of actual women.
Dealing with the demands of extreme TRAs and their allies is such a maddening distraction and diversion of attention and energy. It’s like being forced to stop and address the noisy, insistent complaints of some passerby about the lack of doilies and antimacassars in the building that is burning down around you, while you and your friends are trying to get people out, extinguish the fire, or at least stop it from spreading. And when the authorities do arrive, the firefighters are not equipped with axes, ladders and hoses, but have instead brought boxes and boxes of doilies and antimasaccars for the obnoxious bystander, while the police insist on taking down the particulars of the complaints and criticize you for not taking them seriously. All the while, the building burns and the fire spreads.
