The role of a social worker is not to please bullying adults
Talk about real world consequences.
They reported me to Social Work England the body that regulates social workers in an attempt, I assume, to bully and intimidate me into silence. They are attempting to have me removed from the register of social workers for tweeting in favour of safeguarding children.

There are social workers I know who will not post on social media because they fear for their jobs. I do too. However, I absolutely respect their rights to stay silent on this platform due to the professional fallout and financial implications of standing up to the GI lobby.

The impact on children that the silencing of dissenting views has on operations was graphically recorded in #Rotherham. Social workers must not be silenced again by those seeking their own ends when it comes to imposing adult desires and ideologies onto children.

But…Rowling’s tweet wasn’t about children in any direct way. And changing the subject to Rotherham is a reach. Certainly its legitimate to point out that ‘community’ appeasement and trans-worship are strikingly similar. But the mere allusion isn’t enough.
But it’s not a mere allusion, he says what the connection is.
Some of the ideology of trans activism is in tension with the whole idea of safeguarding.
