“This tyrant bitch”

Timothy McVeigh lives on.

The FBI says it thwarted what it described as a plot to violently overthrow the government and kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, and federal prosecutors are expected to discuss the alleged conspiracy later Thursday.

The court filing also alleges the conspirators twice conducted surveillance at Whitmer’s vacation home and discussed kidnapping her to a remote location in Wisconsin to stand “trial” for treason prior to the Nov. 3 election.

“Several members talked about murdering ‘tyrants’ or ‘taking’ a sitting governor,” an FBI agent wrote in the affidavit. “The group decided they needed to increase their numbers and encouraged each other to talk to their neighbors and spread their message.”

The FBI was already tracking the militia in March after a local police department learned members were trying to obtain addresses of local law-enforcement officers, the FBI agent wrote.

“At the time, the FBI interviewed a member of the militia group who was concerned about the group’s plans to target and kill police officers, and that person agreed to become a (confidential source),” the agent wrote.

In late June, Fox posted on Facebook a video in which he complained about the state’s judicial system and COVID-19 restrictions on gyms operating in Michigan.

“Fox referred to Governor Whitmer as ‘this tyrant bitch,’ and stated, ‘I don’t know, boys, we gotta do something,” according to the court affidavit. “You guys link with me on our other location system, give me some ideas of what we can do.”

Trump has encouraged and fostered this kind of thing.

It’s a republican thing and not just a trump thing. If that’s not understood we may be stuck with what we have now even if trump goes, which is no lock.

And what would’ve happened if they hadn’t sought to attack law enforcement?

And in a statesmanlike move, Trump calmed the waters…. Nah, you know what’s coming.

Following the announcement by federal and state officials, Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller lambasted the governor, who had tied Trump’s rhetoric to the plot in earlier televised remarks, saying she “wakes up everyday with such hatred in her heart” for Trump.

“You know, the fact that after a plot to kidnap and to kill me, this is what they come out with. They start attacking me, as opposed to what good, decent people would do is to check in and say, ‘Are you OK?’ — which is what (Democratic presidential nominee) Joe Biden did,” Whitmer told CNN’s Erin Burnett on “Out Front.”

“I think that tells you everything that’s at stake in this election,” she said. “It tells you everything you need to know about the character of the two people on this ballot that we have to choose from in a few weeks.”

Trump slammed Whitmer later Thursday in a series of tweets, falsely claiming she called him a “White Supremacist” in her remarks, complaining that she did not thank him and saying she’s doing a “terrible job” at governing.

“Governor Whitmer of Michigan has done a terrible job. She locked down her state for everyone, except her husband’s boating activities,” he wrote, urging her in another tweet to “open up your state, open up your schools, and open up your churches!”

open up your state, open up your schools, and open up your churches!

Yeah, like our governor did. And now we continue to get more new cases regularly, topping our original highs. The mayor of my town got COVID. I don’t like him, he’s a goof and not a good mayor, but at least he had enough sense to say people need to be wearing masks. Now if he’d only require it.

Notice the deafening silence from the ‘Blue Lives Matter’ crowd when real violence against police is plotted.

Ugh. Jesus. Trump issued a stream of abusive tweets about Whitmer AFTER the plot was reported?

Yes. He’s a utterly repulsive, repugnant human being.

(Also, he called Harris a “monster” and a “communist” after the debate.)
