A good day for Chase to fuck off

I thought Chase Strangio couldn’t get any worse. Silly me.

There’s a lot to fume at in that tweet, but I especially bristle at that “especially.” Why especially? Why women especially? WHY WOMEN ESPECIALLY?

Silly Ophelia. Didn’t you know that women must constantly be told what to do, that women cannot know what to do without others telling them so?

Us men don’t need to be told to be more inclusive and loving of trans folx, we already are, it’s in our DNA, it’s how we are wired. We really are the caring and sharing gender. We know that Callum Mouncey playing footie isn’t going to hurt us. We know that Reece McKinnon winning all those races doesn’t diminish our cycling wins. And we know that, deep down, in her heart of hearts, every woman wants to be grabbed by the pussy.

See Ophelia, that’s why God made man first so that woman would have someone to guide her while her brain was filled with images of unicorns and roses.

The more you tighten your grip, Strangio, the more star systems will slip through your fingers.

All right, I’ll bite, why today, especially? Because it’s Groundhog Day? Oh, I know, according to Jerry Coyne it’s also California Kiwifruit Day (i.e., “gorilla balls”).

Strangio is trying to prove her manhood through chauvinism.

It’s not the presence of trans people, it’s the presence of men in women’s spaces and using women’s resources that is the issue.

A similarly tone deaf statement I saw was about how concerns about men attacking women in the restroom was really a concern about predatory men, not “transwomen”. YES! It IS about predatory men! That’s why men are not supposed to use women’s restrooms; because some of them are predatory. And men-who-say-they-are-women are as likely as any other men to be predatory. If their argument that all bathrooms should be mixed sex, I disagree, but at least that’s an argument. If their argument is that THIS set of men are somehow less harmful than THAT set of men, citation needed.

But no, they stubbornly cling to the declaration, with no evidence and no coherent definitions, that men-who-say-they-are-women should be considered part of the set of “women” and all that this entails, and reject as bigotry any questions otherwise.

Strangio’s hate for women is well documented. She hates women so much that she has tried to physically remove all evidence of femaleness on her own body, but that’s not enough: she has to pursue every legal and social opportunity open to her to harry and harass women, because she’s absolutely obsessed. She is the reason why I no longer support the ACLU, and will not support them even if Strangio leaves or is forced out–because it is the current leadership at the ACLU that thought it was a good idea to give this misogynist bigot her platform.

You must swear the oath of loyalty whenever Big Brother asks it of you. Honestly, even waiting to be asked is a little suspicious.

The thing is, sister woman Chase, I don’t support full inclusion of trans people if it means their beliefs get to rule my life. I do not love trans people. The presence of men who claim to be women interfering with my rights and my life is an example of trans people hurting others. So, yeah, fuck you, sister woman Chase.

Why do we have to say all this on Groundhog Day? Because we have to say the exact same thing tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that …

“Trans folks, especially trans women, today would be a good day to affirm your support for full inclusion of women, your love for women, and the fact that the presence and existence of women does not hurt trans people.”

Love and Kisses, Strange Chasio esq.

    The ACLU is doomed.

I doubted the Mirror Universe existed in 1967, after all it was science fiction (it’s fiction goddammit!). Now there is so much evidence that these mirror equivalents of actual decent people exist, it’s nearly undeniable. :P

Women, over and above men, need to bend over backwards to accommodate trans people. A pretty clear signifier that this is about getting trans women i.e. men into female-only spaces; the reverse is clearly not such an issue.

Actually, I think every day is a good day for Chase to fuck off.

    @ Holms #13

They don’t want the women to bend over backwards. They want them to “assume the position.”
