When women have “difficulties accessing appropriate health care” it’s often because treatment for gynecological problems, diseases, auto-immune disorders, cancers, and other serious health issues are difficult to access.
When trans people have “difficulties accessing appropriate health care” it’s often because hormones, mastectomies, puberty blockers, breast augmentation, facial sculpting and other means of looking more like “who they know themselves to be” are difficult to access.

A truthful editor would have marked “appropriate” healthcare be replaced with “stipulated” healthcare for the affirming model..
