I watched some longer clips from the January 6 hearing yesterday. Emotionally grueling, and necessary.

The American novelist Norman Mailer (‘The Naked and the Dead’) said in a radio broadcast I heard a few years back that in his opinion, the default condition of humanity is not democracy, but fascism. This stuff, IMHO, supports his case.
