I was completely baffled by the rescuer dog’s behavior, but then I remembered that she’s a she and the dog in the water is tiny so maybe it’s her maternal talents kicking in. Elephants frequently have to rescue calves who have gotten themselves stuck in mudholes they can’t climb out of, and they sort of figure out how to do it.
I hope the owner learned that all dog owners should have fences around their pools.
I hope that there was not someone actually filming this for 34 minutes, but that the shots come from different CCTV cameras…
