They distort our GloRious FounDing

Smug bullying white guy trashes multiculturalism the day after Martin Luther King day and the day before the white guy’s status vanishes like a puff of smoke.

Also – “our enemies stoke these divisions,” he says, in the very act of stoking his own divisions.

Trumpism, nationalism, exceptionalism, it all points in one direction–authoritarianism, cloaked as moral righteousness.

While I can agree that there is too much moral righteousness on the left (and some of it not so moral if they were honest), it seems the right does moral righteousness as part of its everyday function. Family values, anyone?

Just what I was hoping to hear, Pompeo’s version of “who America is.” :P Condemning “our enemies” for “stoking divisions” while stoking divisions is laughably hypocritical.

Clearly, Pompeo hasn’t learned about “our glorious founding” from the indigenous tribes that experienced displacement and genocide at the hands of the founders. Something tells me that their descendants don’t consider it all that glorious.
