It’s up to drunk drivers not to drink and drive. The rest of us should just carry on as if they weren’t a threat.
Why am I reminded by Owen Jones’s lucubrations of Gertrude Stein’s description of Ezra Pound as “A village explainer, excellent if you were a village, but if you were not, not.”? Though Jones is no Pound, of course.
